TEMPLATE ~ Example Diagrams
What do you want your
site to look like?
1. Once you decide on a look, be faithful to the design
from page to page.
There is nothing worse then clicking on a page link, and going to page that
looks nothing like the site you thought you were on. Then wondering if you
made the mistake of transporting into some other site.
2. Keep it simple, if a site is too
visually busy or slow loading, most viewers move on to another store. Yes
pretty is pleasing, but messy is not.
3. If you start with nestled tables continue with them from page to page and
changing the components with in the inner most tables to convey your message
or products.
4. Keep your page templates true to your design, practical,
straightforward, uncontaminated, and well thought-out.
5. Keep in mind that there are lots of free templates available online. PCC
offers free
templates too.
